Camille and Selçuk settled in Bodrum 20 years ago.
Camille started to paint in Ayla Eris’s studio in 2002.
Selçuk, Camille and 5 other friends initiated H3A in 2010 . She continued painting after the formation of the H3A Art Group in Gurece with Gülçin Kadıköy.
Camille has taken part in solo and other exhibitions.
The subject “All creatures Great and Small” is a subject close to her heart….
Tamsin, often called Tina, having married in Tarsus in 2003, finally settled in Bodrum with her husband in 2019.
She had previously experimented with digital art but started painting seriously only last year. This was after she first approached the H3A Art Group, seeking advice on how to fix up and modify an oil painting that someone had thrown away. The group, especially its former and current leaders, Gülçin Kadıköy and Elvan Erdin, encouraged her efforts. From an early age, Tamsin has felt a deep connection with the natural world. She earned a BA from Oxford University in zoology and a PhD from the University of California at Santa Barbara in evolutionary ecology. Wherever she has traveled since then, she has studied and photographed animals in their natural habitats and interacting with humans. For her, “All Creatures Great and Small” is a natural theme for showcasing her artwork.
