[:en]In these pandemic days, many of us are looking for ways to stay connected with H3A friends and colleagues. Therefore, H3A is stepping into the “new normal,” taking close care of the measures and restrictions. Fortunately there are many tools available to us using our cell phones, tablets, and computers. Virtual conversations using Zoom, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Skype allow people to continue to be part of each other’s lives. The H3A website, WhatsApp groups, and Facebook groups continue to share the spirit of H3A. Slowly, cautiously, some small groups have begun meeting in person. We hope this brief newsletter (to be published at least 2 times a month this summer) can be a helpful place to find news about H3A-related activities. Here’s to staying connected AND safe!
CINEMA PRESENTATIONS
The Sinema-Dizi Group has continued to meet this spring and summer using Zoom. Each week members are given details of a film that they watch on their own; Sundays there are discussions of the film on a Zoom meeting.
On the next two Sundays, the group invites interested H3A members to take part in special Zoom presentations in Turkish by Prof. Dr. Semiramis Yağcıoğlu.
