Hakkı Üzel Classic music

On Sunday, 24 January 2010 at 16:00, you are all invited to Hakki Üzel “Classic music” Zoom presentation.

This presentation (talk in Turkish but rich with audiovisuals) will explain what Classical Western Music is about and how it should be understood. In the presentation, an analytical, technical and emotional analysis of Western Classical Music will be made, its phases in historical periods and its parallels with arts such as painting, architecture and sculpture will be examined.

 Hakki Üzel graduated from ODTU and Sussex Universities. His business life passed as a manager in the private sector. However his whole life was intertwined with classical music. His first music teachings were from his father, an engineer who had a Conservatory education. He studied himself classical music at Yale University and the Curtis Institute of Music.
